Stillwater Area Public Schools have always been the engine that allows our community to thrive. They’re a lure for young families who value the beauty of the St. Croix Valley and the chance to enroll their kids in one of the best school districts in the state. What makes the schools so great? Excellent teachers, paraprofessionals, administrators, counselors, custodians—all of them focused on making a difference in the lives of young people. Yes, we have had a wild few years in public education and District 834. But since Bev was first elected in 2020, the district has taken steps toward stability and continuity. The community passed two local levies last fall to provide financial continuity, and the board recently hired a new superintendent to provide leadership stability.
